Can't login on main screen

one the main screen I get stuck with the popup that says login with google or facebook.
no where else to click. the screen is locked up since I can't login the normal method.
Have to load url to go to the forum then I can login, but not from the site URL.
Browser Mozilla Firefox. recent version
Guessing some javascript is whackin its noodle somewhere
Sorry I don't use chrome, or IE.
