OK, admit it. Am I the only one to believe in fairy tale romances. Seeing the previews for that new film Cinderella. Loved them when young, turning a down and out into a princess.
I liked Dr Who as a kid, that's the nearest I got to seeing transformations and such!

I got turned on to Dr Who in the 70s, after the military. Always loved Sci Fi. Still watch the newer ones.

i really liked the original Dr Who shows on tv; i started watching them after getting involved in the Dr Who novels while i was in college back in the 60's; i also got into Tolkien & other SF as well.

Tom Baker is still my fav Dr. Who...even have the scarf! unfortunately it's in 1/4 scale.....

Tom was the one I started with. Our PBS stations would then start with the first and cycle though. Saw them so much, almost memorized. Now you get the new ones on BBC America and BBC UK.

in my opinion, the new series are nowhere near as good as the ones with Tom, back a ways - those were the best, as far as i'm concerned, even though the special effects were kind of primitive then...

I guess we are going to beat the Dr Who stuff to death. I like the new ones as I watched the older ones so much they got boring. Plus we get a more rounded version of the Dr.
