Video Down load speed

New member and I'm wondering,

Is there a better way to get down load speed to be faster in watching the videos? I have noticed the shorter videos load for most part OK, Longer ones take forever , And waiting like that for one to down load just sucks!

I believe it has everything to do with your connection speed? But me not knowing for sure only begs for more questions.

I have a FAST connection so I can't say that I suffer through the wait...

So, cable, dial up, or satellite connection?

What we really need to do is a test ... I have FTTC (fibre to the cabinet / curb) so my broadband speed is over 10 X what it was previously. Some folks on here are on a standard satellite connection, which is significantly slower. And maybe some gurly dinosaurs are still on dial-up!

If we all pick a target and try downloading it, and time the process, then we might see some interesting data.
